New York Trip Day 5

Day 5: 3/17 Thursday
I wake up early to get the student rush tickets for The Producer for 3 of us. Since Dillon is going back home for the weekend, I am checking into YMCA Green Point for tonight. After getting the tickets, I went east to leave my luggaes in Green Point and back to meet the group on the Fifth Avenue. Today is the St. Patricks day and there is a parade on the street and lots lots lots of cops in shining uniform and shoes everywhere. There are too many peopls on the street, so we deiced to take refuge in MoMA, Museum of Modern Art nearby. The museum was really fun to visit! I rent the audio guide and visited the photo and design sections. Didn't have time to visit beyond 3rd floor, this is somewhere that I have to come back to. After MoMA, we had huge lunch / afternoon tea at the famous the Carneige Deli. It was very pricy with $12 per person minimum, but the cheese cake is really good, same as the signature Woody Allen sandwitch. We also saw the owner busy kissing up to an high ranking (2 stars) police officer who came here for a lunch after the St. Patrick's Day parade. That was pretty funny scene. After dinner, we had some time to do some window shopping before the show starts. The show was just ok. I didn't feel engaged by the story that much and the music is somewhat forgettable. But it's my first real Broadway show.
